Response: The aim of this study was to investigate the presence of effects of tiger nut on sexual behavior and not the dose-response relationship. In moderately active rats we only provided the higher dose, since minimal or no changes are expected at the lower dose. These doses appear to be very high. Please provide justification as to how the doses were calculated? Response: Tiger nut tubers were air dried and ground into powder. The raw powder was given in doses of 1 and 2 g/kg/d. These doses are considered comparable with the human dose, since an average human male usually consumes between 100-200 g daily of dried tiger nut. (new sentence has been added, p: 6, lines: 137-138)
